Welcome

Per Angusta is a narrowboat which was built in 2004 for me (Gillian) and my husband, Ian. This website was originally set up to chronicle the build and ensure that we didn't bore family and friends with our blow by blow description of the build.

Now the boat is finished, you can find details of our voyages in the Ship's Log and as we learn more about narrowboats, I'll try to expand the How? What? Why? Where? section. Although there is technical information dotted around the site, please verify independently anything you may wish to use - we are not boatbuilders.

Writing the website has become quite additictive so I've broadened the scope to include things that interest us - for instance you'll find sections on the Seville Flamenco Festival and our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels in Not Just Canals. In the Photo Album, you'll find Scenes from the Cut and other collections of photos. I've also added 'Musings & Messages' which is really an occasional blog - although how long I'll keep it up for I don't know.

If you've come across the site whilst surfing the net - then feel free to browse.
