The rear cabin - the dogs have taken well to the 'cage'. We leave the gate open most of the time and they will go and settle themselves in it for a sleep. The main purpose of the cage is to have somewhere safe and secure for the dogs if we are locking or doing some tricky manouevring.
The rear cabin has multiple personalities - as you can see it's a utility room, with washer/dryer and freezer. We can also use it as a work bench or 'office' if we go extended cruising. Put the special insert in and there is then a large platform. With a blow up mattress it forms a double bed or the grandchildren sleep there in sleeping bags. Beside the rear steps is the storage for the tiller. Under the steps is storage for Ian's tools, the windlass box, etc.
