We chose to have a cross boat bathroom because it gives you more space to dry yourself after the shower. Plus it helped the 'flow' through the boat, avoiding the corridor effect. The hand-basin is a full sized domestic basin with plenty of elbow space. The small mirrored cupboard is there for Ian to shave in the morning - the shaver socket is just below the cupboard.
We have a full-sized shower with thermostatic controls. By placing the shower head to the front, we have given ourselves the maximum elbow room whilst showering. The shower room doubles as a wet room.
Beside the shower is a cupboard plus storage shelves. Moving round there is the towel radiator and the loo - which is on the same internal wall as the basin - but the opposite side of the door.
